"20 weird fucked up facts about me..."
1. I can pee anywhere, like one time I peed in the backseat of a moving car into a cup. No, I'm not a dude.
2. Though I've loved many, I have only been IN LOVE once. 3/4 years ago when I was 13/14. It didn't end badly, but i just can't go back.
3. I take 20 minutes to get ready no matter where I'm going.
4. I highlight words on the computer as i'm reading them.
5. I moved out of my hometown when I was 14 and I refuse to go back until I am successful. It motivates me on those days when I can't get out of bed.
6. 80% of the time you see me I will be wearing a hoodie. It's a comfort thing.
7. I was a high honor roll, A's across the board student until high school. Then I dropped out and got my GED. I couldn't handle it.
8. I lost a best friend because of alcohol 3 years ago, and I think about him everyday, yet I still make the conscious decision to drink.
9. I had my first ciggarette in the 7th grade because I thought it was cool. Years later I now sometimes smoke a pack a day. I wish I didn't care about being cool.
10. I know what I want to do with the rest of my life, and it's the best feeling in the world. It's a perfect blend of practicality and passion.
11. While drunk, I was once bodyslammed onto a table and smacked in the ass really hard. I have no recollection of this, even after being told the story by several people. Bottoms Up!
12. I'm scared shitless to get behind the wheel of a car, so I sometimes contemplate never leaving new york city.
13. There's this one band .. called Bayside, and they mean the entire world to me. I will get overly defensive if you say they're your favorite band, because NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE GET IT. I've managed to find 2 people who do, and I like to believe that we're the only 3.
14. I hate losing people from my life. I hold on to anything and everything I can. I think that everyone can be my anchor, so it really hurts and comes as a suprise to me when people change.
15. i once started a rendition of the fresh prince of belair theme song that ended with an entire train car singing along. it's one of my greatest accomplishments.
16. English was my best subject in school, and I've always loved reading and writing. It comes so easy to me. As a result of this, I am very literate and well-read, though you wouldn't know.
17. I never wear a bra, even though I should.
18. I'm realizing for the first time in young adulthood that I don't have to be high, drunk, or at a show, to have a really good time.
19. I don't want to live a completely selfish life, because I see tons of people doing that shit. If I can change one thing for the better, or one persons mind about doing something they shouldn't do, then my life is worthwhile. I know it sounds cliche but it's true.
20. All of my tattoos mean something to me. Even my cheesy first tattoo that I estimate only 30 people have seen in my entire life. 15 of them probably saw it creeping out from my jeans, not even like I showed them or anything.

All in all, 2006 has been pretty good to me.
A lot of it was bad, I've been really depressed and stuff but like, so much good has come out of it. I've come to see people and things for who and what they really are, and I've learned so many lessons. In bad times you gain wisdom. I lost myself for a great portion of this year and there are still parts of myself that are gone, that I might never get back again, but I've come to terms with that and am constructing new parts of me and my personality that will be here to stay. It's time to keep it posi and now that these walls around me have been completely knocked down, its time to build them back up. not to keep the world out, just to keep a good distance when i need it. I have so much bad but so much good. Karma has been good to me & it can only get better.
So, heres the question I pose for anyone to answer, because I'm not even friendslocking this entry.
How was your year? What was good about it? What was bad about it? What did you learn? What will you always remember? What was the best part? What was the worst part? and most importantly .. What do you want 2007 to bring?
